Terms and Conditions

For Students, Pupils, and Adults in Lower Saxony, Germany/Nationalwide

CBNS Languages Community offers students of all ages and school types help with homework, exam preparation, and online learning. Our lessons are 80% online and 20% in-person.

Lesson Structure

  • One lesson lasts 45 or 60 minutes, depending on the student’s preference.
  • Lessons typically take place Monday to Friday afternoons and Saturday mornings. For students and adults, lessons are scheduled according to individual preferences.

Fees

  • Tuition fees are payable monthly after registration, plus a one-time registration fee.
  • Additional lessons not included in the original agreement will incur a separate fee, to be discussed and agreed upon in advance.

Holidays

  • During summer holidays, CBNS in Lower Saxony will be closed for half a month. The exact dates will be announced in advance, and tuition fees will be waived for this period. For other federal states, the summer holiday dates will apply.
  • During other holidays, CBNS will be open, but regular lessons will not take place. Alternative lesson times must be arranged with the teacher and can take place in the morning. Missed lessons cannot be made up due to organizational reasons.

Public Holidays

  • No lessons will take place on public holidays.

Cancellation and Make-up Lessons

  • Lessons missed due to important reasons (e.g., illness, doctor’s appointments, school events) can be made up within two months, provided the teacher is notified at least 24 hours in advance.
  • The notice period is one month, ending on the last day of the month. Written notice must be given at least one month prior to the last lesson. The cancellation will be confirmed in writing.

Changes to the Terms and Conditions

CBNS Languages Community reserves the right to modify or supplement these terms and conditions at any time. Changes will be announced on the CBNS Languages Community website. The current version of the terms and conditions is available on the CBNS Languages Community website. By continuing to use the services of CBNS Languages Community after a change to the terms and conditions, the customer agrees to the amended terms and conditions.
